2020 NATIONAL CATHOLIC EDUCATION CONFERENCE
The future is listening
The 2020 National Catholic Education Conference is postponed due to unprecedented restrictions on travel and other factors that will significantly impact the likely attendance of many conference delegates, speakers, sponsors and exhibitors during 2020.
On behalf of the organisers, thank you for your patience and understanding during these rapidly evolving and very challenging times. We look forward to your continuing support and to seeing you in Melbourne in the future!

Hotels in Melbourne
The NCEC 2020 Event Managers, Encanta, have secured rooms and rates in selected hotels for the benefit of Conference delegates.
The National Catholic Education Commission (NCEC) was established by the Australian Catholic Bishops Conference through the Bishops Commission for Catholic Education to maintain effective liaison with the Australian Government and other key national education bodies and to work with each diocese to be a voice for our schools.
The NCEC hosts a conference every four or five years in a major Australian city. Catholic Education Melbourne is proud to host the NCEC 2020 Conference, The Future is Listening, at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, 6–9 September 2020.
The conference provides a forum where the many partners in Catholic education can come together to discuss issues of significance for the future of Catholic schooling.
Last held in Perth in 2016, the NCEC conference attracted more than 1300 Catholic education leaders. For 2020 Melbourne we hope to attract over 2000 participants from across Australia.
The conference theme, The Future is Listening, seeks to provide an opportunity for participants to explore, discern and be inspired by the richness and responsibility of Catholic education and leadership within a contemporary Australia.
