Dr Janet Goodall is an Associate Professor in the School of Education, Swansea University.
She has lectured, written and researched nationally and internationally in the field of parental engagement with children’s learning.
Janet has worked with a wide variety of schools, families, governmental bodies and charities.
Her recent monograph, ‘Narrowing the Achievement Gap: Parental Engagement in Children’s Learning‘ provides the research basis to support parental engagement, and her co-authored work with Dr Kathy Weston for practitioners, ‘100 Ideas for Primary Teachers: Engaging parents‘ shows how to put that research into practice. A companion volume, for secondary teaching staff, will be available later this year.
